Real Stories. Real Experiences. - Emily
My bad grades u-turn!
Just about a year ago, I was failing in school. My report card was shamefully full of D's and F's.
It began when I started hanging out with a bad crowd. I didn't care anymore and so my grades didn't matter either.
When I first came to the YPG, it felt strange because I didn't know anyone. It was being the "new girl" in the group, but even so, everybody was very welcoming. After coming every week, I started to feel better and at home.
They'd speak about things that helped me in so many ways. Suddenly, I was praying and feeling better with myself.
A couple of months later, I decided to leave those bad friends that tied me up in school and be a better student.
I didn't even know the prayers were helping me until the day I got my new report card, and my grades had gone up from F's to B's. I was so happy. Since then, I have kept attending the YPG and things all around me are getting better and better.
