Too many faithfulness has now become a mere word. It’s something that we unfortunately see so little of in the world today. Many talk it, but few practice it. Faithfulness is simply keeping your word to something that you promised someone or yourself. However, as easy as this may sound sometimes it‘s not so easy to do.
You see, faithfulness is proved when you go through temptations, persecutions and hard times and this is where many fail in their word and consequently become UNFAITHFUL.
To be faithful when all is going well is very easy, but true faithfulness is shown when things are against you or not in your favor. The secret to faithfulness is that the end result will always be a blessing!
“A faithful man will abound with blessings, But he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.” (Proverbs 28:20)
You see, it is not the one who is most liked or was born with more advantages and attractiveness, but it’s the faithful who will be blessed greatly! This is why the faithful should never fear, never give up and never look to the circumstances. Those of you who will be taking part in any purpose have taken a step that requires faithfulness.
In our purposes many things will come your way for you to be unfaithful! Boys, girls, peers and such like will try to make you break your faithfulness. Every Sunday we are calling upon God to bless your spiritual life, family, health, studies and your future, but we cannot expect God to do His part and we do what we want. This is not faithfulness!
If you want to abound in blessings as the Word of God says, then be faithful. The maths is simple: FAITHFULNESS = BLESSINGS
So, will faithfulness be just a word to you, or will YOU make it more than that by being faithful?
